Well I walked over the bridge into the city where I live…

Fall and I went for a walk today. Our steps fell into an effortless pattern (like they always do) as we admired the outdoors together.

I’m grateful for fall.

We’re genuine friends, the kind of old friends who go months without seeing each and feel as if no time has passed at all.

It’s nice to be able to just pick up like that, to call up an old friend and stroll through the park with one another, not needing to say a word.

“Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight” Amos Lee

“Sometimes we forget who we got,
Who they are.
Oh, who they are not.
There is so much more in love,
Than black and white.
Keep it loose, child.
Gotta keep it tight.”

  1. I like the bridge picture. You know how I feel about paths, roads, doorways. I think your bridge may fall in this category.
