Vegetable Cakes

When I open the fridge, I see one egg. No bacon. No orange juice. And the pantry only has enough pancake mix for one person. There are two of us.

When Fred opens the fridge, he sees this:

Vegetable cakes (1 c. cauliflower, 1 c. brussels sprouts – both finely chopped and mixed with breadcrumbs, 1 egg, salt & pepper, and curry to taste) served with Dill Honey Dijon Aioli and a side of toast.

Huh…I guess I missed that when I looked this morning…


Bottom Line: I love being married to a man who can cook! Who’ll raise a coffee cup to that?
