Emma, dear, you are now over 2 months old.
During this 2nd month of life, we have seen your personality shine. You have found a deep affection for mommy and impress her with your spit bubbles and smiles. You have the sweetest voice and you call to mom & dad with equal excitement and joy. You tell us stories. Sometimes they’re funny and sometimes they’re very serious but they are always captivating.
You are an expert traveler and love making the 2+ hour stretches north and east to see your grandparents. More than car rides though, you love being outside. You are your father’s daughter. Your stroller is your favorite mode of transportation, be it through workout classes with mom or walks with Winston.
You took your first bottle this month at a Whitecaps baseball game and you did it like a champ. You strolled through downtown and visited with friends. You outgrew your first outfits and grew into your 2nd pair of shoes.
Who knew we would continue to fall so deeply in love when our hearts are already so full? You are a delight and we love that when you smile, your eyes light up your whole face & ours.
Happy 2 month, Emma Josephine. You are a blessing to this family and a joy.
